Comox Harbour Charters is happy to announce we are now booking for shellfish farms tours during the upcoming BC Shellfish Festival.

Experience the natural beauty of Baynes Sound as you venture over to the shores of Denman Island to visit a deep water oyster growing site operated by the Wood family. We will be offering two tours on Sunday, June 16th departing from Comox Marina.

Trip 1 -  leaves at 10am and ventures over to the Hollie Wood Oysters farm where we will hook up to their rafts and learn about the process of cultivating deep water oysters by the farmers themselves.

Trip 2 -  departs at 2pm and features a shellfish farming expert on-board to detail the industry and answer any questions. During each return trip, guests will indulge on oysters supplied by the farm they just visited.

Each trip lasts about 2.5 hours and is only $27.95 per person.

Tickets are available through the Vancouver Island Visitors Centre!
